Manufactured by the Japanese automaker Nissan, the Datsun Go is the first car that was released under the Datsun brand name. The prior version of this car was used for Nissan exports and was discontinued in 1986. However, it was in the year 2014 when the Datsun Go made a comeback in the automobile industry, deriving its name after the "Dat-Go". Now available in developing markets such as South Africa, India and Indonesia, the Datsun Go is based on the same platform of Nissan V as that of Micra/March. Today, this 5-door hatchback competes against the likes of Hyundai Santro, Tata Tiago, Maruti Suzuki Celerio, Maruti Suzuki Wagon R, and Maruti Suzuki Ignis.
Nissan also came up with a much more spacious version of Datsun Go with the name Datsun Go Plus (or Go+). It was launched in the year 2014 and has now been updated to the latest Bharat standard emission norms. It competes against cars such as Renault Kwid, Maruti Suzuki Wagon R, and Maruti Suzuki Alto K10.
The Datsun Go is only available in the petrol version of the engine. It is a 1.2 litre, 3 cylinder, 12 valve DOHC petrol engine that is equipped right under the engine hood. Being an in-line cylinder, it develops a maximum power of 68bhp and reaches the peak torque of 104Nm. The displacement provided by the Datsun Go variants is 1198cc.

Furthermore, the Datsun Go can sprint from 0 to 100kmph within 13.3 seconds and can touch up to 150kmph of top speed.
Apart from the great performance, the Datsun Go also provides stunning exterior and interiors. On the outside, the vehicle has a sash tape on the rear door finisher and centre pillar. On the inside, the hatchback has a full moulded door trims, rear assist grips, closable AC vents having a silver finish, spinal support front connected seats, and a lot more.
