Add-on Covers For Aria Car Insurance

Add-on covers are essential to enhance the bubble of coverage in order to safeguard the car against all potential risk of damage or loss. There are various covers that you can opt for as per your needs. Some of the most common add-on covers in car insurance are as follows:

Engine Protection Add-on

Engine protection add-on extends coverage towards repairs of damage to the car engine, which is not a result of the accident. Under the engine protection add-on cover, you will be reimbursed towards expenses pertaining to repair of the damaged engine due to engine oil leakage, water damage caused due to water ingression, hydrostatic lock and physical damage to components like a gearbox.

Consumables Cover

The replacement of consumables in the car like engine oil can add up to a big amount over a period of time. Having consumables add-on cover reimburses you for the replacement of consumables like oil, refrigerant, washers, nuts, bolts, screws etc. so that you do not end up paying for the expenses out of the pocket.

Passenger Protection Cover

Comprehensive car insurance does not cover for hospitalization and treatment expenses of car passengers in the event of injury due to accident or collision. However, passenger protection add-on extends such coverage up to six passengers, wherein they will get the necessary financial coverage.

Return to Invoice Cover

Your insurer would not compensate you for the invoice amount of the car in case the car is stolen or is damaged completely. The insurer will only pay up the Insured Declared Value (IDV) of the car unless you are covered with the Return to Invoice Cover. Under this add-on cover, you will be eligible to claim the original invoice value of the car along with registration charges and road-tax paid.

Roadside Assistance Cover

Roadside assistance add-on cover is a unique add-on cover that extends 24/7 support in case the car happens to break down in the middle of the road. Refuelling, engine repair, flat tire and towing services are covered under this add-on.
