Ayushman Bharat Marching Ahead With Coverage of One Lakh Beneficiaries

Within a span of just one month time after its launch Ayushman Bharat has got 1 lakh people covered under its umbrella. Ayushman Bharat- Pradhan Mantri Jan Aarogya Yogna (AB-PMJAY) is a revolutionary nationalized health insurance plan launched for rural Indians and selected urban population. Its primary motive is to cover people under the poverty line and helpless Indians. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi announced this plan almost one month ago i.e. on 23rdSeptember 2018.

His vision of introducing this useful health insurance plan is to cover at least 50 crore people. This health insurance plan has no cap on the age and size of the family. The plan is designed to include more women and older people in the family. The scheme was launched on 23rd September in Ranchi; Jharkhand by the Prime Minister. It was proposed way back on the eve of 72nd Independence day by our honorary Prime Minister Narender Modi.

AB-PMJAY assures to facilitate sum insured of Rs. 5 lakh per family. The objective of this plan is to provide an affordable hospital for the poor. A 46th old person from Rewa, MP complete the counts of one lakh beneficiary for AMPMJAY plan. The latest beneficiary got admitted in Vindhya Hospital and Research Center for the treatment of Posterior Cervical recently.
