Interconnectivity within Karnataka by road is quite smooth. Many people prefer to take road trips over the weekend. Thus driving is a great fun here. As a result, there are many vehicles owners .

As we know after possessing two-wheelers or four-wheelers we need to go through a certain mandatory paperwork. It's not an option rather compulsion to have the required documents in our vehicles. Some of the basic one’s are valid driving license, registration of the vehicle. Others are like vehicle pollution certificate, number plates etc.

Many people shift their base for work purpose. It's not always possible to sell their old vehicles and buy a new one. Especially when their vehicle is not too old. In that case, one of the most important document they need is No Objection Certificate (NOC). Without possessing it they are not permitted to drive in another city. We can easily get it from state RTO as elaborated below.

How to get NOC from Karnataka RTO?

Let's assume you got a job in Bangalore and you want to shift along with brand new Honda Amaze. You can do that without any hassle only for an initial three months as a grace period. Beyond that, we need to follow certain legal proceedings.

There are some documents that need to be submitted to Karnataka RTO at the earliest. These are as follows:

  1. Photo Id Proof
  2. Address Proof
  3. Registration copy of Vehicle
  4. Pollution Certificate
  5. Vehicle Insurance
  6. Road Permit Documents
  7. Chassis Number on Pencil Print

After accumulating all these documents we need to visit the RTO office. Once the documents along with vehicle are thoroughly examined and approved we get the NOC. There's very nominal fee that is involved in this process. If our documents are complete and our vehicles don't have any criminal record than we get NOC within 3 working days.
