Regional Transport Office - Sikkim

Sikkim is a popular state in northeast India which is bordered by Bhutan, Tibet and Nepal. The Motor Vehicles Division is a constituent part of the Transport Department, Government of Sikkim whose main job is to enforce and implement the laws relating to the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988, Central Motor Vehicles Rules, 1989, Sikkim Motor Vehicle Rules, 1991, the Sikkim Motor Vehicles (Taxation) Act, 1982. The department is headed by the Transport Commissioner.
