Digit Health Care Plus Policy

Overview

The Digit Health Care Plus policy offers 360-degree coverage to insured individuals. When you invest in the plan, you can avail basic coverage benefits such as room rent, ICU, ambulance, critical illness coverage, and many more features.

Along with base coverage, you can also opt for optional coverage benefits like loss of income cover, cumulative bonus protection cover, unused sum insured benefits, and daily cash for accompanying an insured child. The Digit Health Care Plus policy offers 16 base covers and 6 optional covers to insured individuals.

The minimum entry age for insured individuals is 18 years, while there is no maximum entry age limit. Dependent children can also be covered under the plan from the age of 91 days. The policy period can be opted for between 1, 2, or 3 years, and insured individuals are offered long-term policy discounts of up to 10%. • Multiple Optional Covers

  With the Digit Health Care Plus policy, you can avail of multiple optional covers like cumulative bonus protection cover, loss of income cover, unused sum insured benefit, network hospital co-payment, daily cash for accompanying an insured child, and payment of non-medical expenses.

• Tax Benefits

  Premiums paid towards the Digit Health Care Plus policy are eligible for tax benefits under Section 80D of the Income Tax Act of India, 1961.

• Refill Benefit

  Under this particular benefit, individuals can enjoy a refill of 100% of their sum insured specified and utilized under Accidental Hospitalization Cover and Accidental & Illness Hospitalization Cover for that particular policy period.

• Critical Illness Cover

  The Digit Health Care Plus policy offers medical expense coverage against 20 listed critical illnesses.

• Maternity & Newborn Cover

  Insured individuals can avail of maternity and newborn baby coverage with the Digit Health Care Plus policy, limited to up to 2 children.

• Intentional self-injury
• AIDS
• Miscarriage and abortion
