Yes, irrespective of the type of health policy, your health insurance company is liable to cover the hospitalization expenses incurred due to coronavirus.
The benefit is offered three times of daily limit for the number of days not exceeding 10 consecutive days of hospitalisation to a maximum of up to Rs. 10,000. This can be availed only once in a policy period.
