Tokio Marine to raise stake in Indian JV

27 August, 2015: Tokio Marine- Japanese insurer will increase stake in Indian joint venture Edelweiss Tokio Life Insurance to 49 perecnt from 26 percent. It got the approval from India’s Foreign Investment Promotion Board (FIPB) on Wednesday. “The approval is a reinforcement of Tokio Marine’s long term commitment to India and to Edelweiss Tokio Life Insurance.
