How is a ManipalCigna Health Insurance Claim Processed?

Cashless Process

  1. Contact the toll-free number 3 days in advance of hospitalization, and during emergency hospitalization, contact within 24 hours.
  2. Provide the health card and ID proof at the network hospital.
  3. The network hospital sends the pre-authorization form to ManipalCigna, which then authorizes the form if all details are correct.
  4. During discharge, the network hospital will send the discharge summary to the network hospital authorizing the amount.
  5. After completion of all processes, ManipalCigna will make the payment to the network hospital.

Reimbursement Process

  1. Contact the toll-free number 3 days in advance of hospitalization, and during emergency hospitalization, contact within 24 hours.
  2. During discharge, collect all the necessary documents such as original hospital bills, receipts, discharge summary, investigation reports, pharmacy bills, and submit it to ManipalCigna along with the claim document.
  3. ManipalCigna will assess the documents and make the decision about whether to approve or reject the claim.
