Iam under group insurance scheme with policy no 251100502210000156.i have submitted for reimbursement of clam of my wife and new born child. National insurance co rejected the claim of my new born child with the reason BABY IS NOT COVERED UNDER THE SCHEME. HOW A NEW BORN CHILD 5 DAYS OLD BE COVERED IN GROUP INSURANCE. CAN T THE CLAIM BE SettLED UNDER MOTHER S UHID

The process is very slow. Me with my Mother waiting for a whole day (More than 12hours in Hospital) just for their approval. We were being charged for that useless day. Further, they didn t even approve 50% of Hospital Bill. (Note: Non-Medical Expenses were not more than 15%) What was use to take this policy were we are being paid more than half of Hospital dues. The worst experience ever!!

My father in law lives alone in jalandhar and we wanted an insurance company that take cares of him in our absence. They are very good with their commitment and service.

I bought my health plan from National a while back. Recently had to make a claim for hospitalization. I was a little worried but the response time was at best amazing! Thanks guys
