Took a Foreign Travel Health Insurance and incurred expenses for tooth problem which was covered in the insurance. On filing the claim, the company asked for certain documents which were submitted. Later on they asked for new documents which I was not having and also they could have visualized that I might not have. Since the beginning their thrust was how to reject the claim, which finally seems to have been rejected as neither I have recieved any claim amount nor any further communication. It seems there is no point in taking Foreign Travel Insurance when companies like TATA-AIG are not honouring the claims.

My experience with Tata AIG is not good. Customer response is very poor. They increase the premium without asking us. Also policy renewal is time consuming exercise
