New India Assurance’s Overseas Mediclaim Policy is the health plan designed for those people who are about to go to a foreign country and are in need of medical plan to cover their expenses if they feel sick in foreign land.
Entry Criteria- Overseas Mediclaim Policy is a plan that covers the expenses that you might have to endure in a foreign land from your health to your lost baggage, it looks after everything. However, it should be bought before you plan your visit abroad. The eligible age requirement for this plan is 6 months to 70 years and medical check-up is required for people above 60 who bought the plan that includes USA and Canada and people above 70 who bought the plan that excludes USA and Canada.
The Packages- This plan includes many packages and you can buy any according to your needs and budget. You can buy this plan for studies and employment purpose or for business and holiday purpose. As for premium, it depends on the age of the insurer and the term of the policy.
Travelling is Fun-There is one package just for people who are visiting abroad for holiday or business purpose. The company is liable to pay the expenses for the accident, lost passport, baggage, etc. of the insured for 2 months only in case of CFT plan and for 180 days for other plans.

Expenses Covered- As shown in above two tables, this plan provides you the expense for your medical treatment, accident, for your personal belongings (in case they are lost); expenses incurred due to loss of luggage as well as bear your repatriation expenses.
