Steps in LIC New User Registration and Login

Before jumping directly into the LIC premium payment receipt online, you should create a login account for yourself. Hence, firstly you need to understand the steps that are required in LIC new user registration process.

# Step 1

Visit the LIC home page and click on the link by the name of LIC e-services that is available on "Online Services"

Click on the tab "New User".

At this step, you have to provide the policy details and your communication details that include Email and Mobile Phone numbers. All fields are mandatory here. Make sure you are providing valid data which should be the same in your LIC policy.

Important Notes

  • Provide a valid policy number.
  • Make sure that installment Premium is without service tax.
  • Date of Birth format should be like dd/mm/yyyy.
  • Submit the Mobile number and Email ID that you are currently using and retain for long. Because once you get register under the same, then all the future communication will be shared with you on this mobile number and email id.

# Step 4

After clicking on the tab "Proceed", then the page will redirect you directly to the below screen where you have to provide the User Name and Password of your choice. The registration process is complete now. Keep in mind that the User ID and password should contain letters, alphabets and two special characters dot (.) and underscore (_).

Interested policyholders can enroll themselves in their own life only and their minor kid's name. At the time where the minor change to major, then the person has to create the new account in the major kid name. If the policy is related to a different person viz. spouse, children, etc, then he/she have to create a different user-id and enroll the policy/ies under that user-id.

After that, you have to log in to the LIC portal by clicking on "Registered User". Now, you can add the LIC policies that you are holding.

After creating the login and later on if you purchased new policies, then simply fill the "Addendum to Proposal Form for LIC e-services". The format looks like below.

To download the LIC premium payment receipt online, you need to be a registered user of LIC's e-Services.

Steps to download the LIC premium payment receipt online

# Step 1

Visit LIC Homepage and click on the link called LIC e-Services that is available on "Online Services".

Click on the tab "Registered User". Because you are already a registered user.

Submit the User ID and Password. If you forget the User ID and Password, then you can use the link provided for the same and the screen looks like below.

Click on the two options available as "Consolidated Premium Paid Statement" or "Individual Policy Premium Paid Statement".

At this step, you have to choose the Financial Year and in case of Individual Policy Premium Paid Statement, select the policy number to download.
