Cashless Claim Settlement Process

Step 1: The policyholder must find a hospital in the city where they can avail of the cashless treatment process.

Step 2: In case of emergency hospitalization, inform the insurance company within 24 hours. And 48 hours prior in case of planned hospitalization.The policyholder must carry their Niva Bupa health card or policy number and photo ID proof at the hospital.

Step 3: The insurer has to fill out the pre-authorization form at the hospital and submit it to the hospital authority.

Step 4: After checking the policyholder’s identity and details, the hospital will submit the pre-authorization request form to Niva Bupa Health Insurance.

Step 5: The company will then review the documents, confirm with the hospital, and inform you about the same.

Step 6: Once the formalities are complete, the insurer will then settle the claim at the hospital according to the terms and conditions of the policy.
