Mukhyamantri Amrutum Yojana
Mukhyamantri Amrutum Yojna is one of the most effective Health Yojanas by Mukhyamantri. On September 4, 2012, the Mukhyamantri Amrutum Yojana scheme was launched by the government of Gujarat. It is one of the most beneficial Health Insurance
Yojnas for low-income families, which provides Health Insurance to people Below the Poverty Line (BPL) or who come from a lower-income group or a middle-class family. This is a comprehensive Health Insurance plan that covers the whole
medical emergency cycle, from diagnostic tests to post-hospitalization treatment.
In August 2014, Mukhyamantri Amrutam Yojana was extended to Mukhyamantri Amrutam Vatsalya Yojana for those who belong to lower-middle-class families, but do not fall under BPL. Unfortunately, if a Critical Illness occurs, it would be very
difficult for these people to get treated.
Therefore, to cater such kinds of situations & provide the right medical treatment to the masses, Mukhyamantri Amrutam Vatsal Yojana was introduced.
