SBI Health Insurance for Maternity Exclusions
Before choosing a plan, look for the one that best suits your needs and look at its exclusions for avoiding fatalities
Any pre-existing diseases from starting day of the policy up to 4 years of the policy, the pre-existing disease must be persistent in this period of time.
Treatment of certain illnesses such as ulcers, tonsillectomy, hernia, cataract, sinusitis, gall bladder stones, and many other chronic organ failures during the first year of running of the policy.
Treatment that is taken outside India will not be included in the SBI Pregnancy Insurance Policy.
For the medical practitioner without undertaking any active regular treatment, a stay in hospital facility is not available.
Experimental and unproven treatment is excluded from the SBI Maternity Insurance Policy.
Any injury caused due to self-harm.
Naturopathy treatment.
War and war-like situations.
