Cover for day-care treatment expenses up to a specified limit where 24-hour hospitalization is not required
25% compensation for Ayurvedic, Homeopathic, and Unani treatments done in government hospitals
Coverage for pre-existing diseases after four years of continuous claim-free renewals.
Cover for pre-existing conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and related complications post two years of uninterrupted insurance services, with an additional premium payment required.
There are specific situations, conditions, or treatments that are not covered or eligible for reimbursement under the insurance policy. The Company is not liable to make any payment under this policy for the following:
Treatment expenses related to pre-existing diseases and their complications are excluded until 48 months.
Treatment expenses for any illness within 30 days from the policy commencement date are excluded, except for accidents, unless the insured person has continuous coverage for more than twelve months.
Custodial care for personal needs is excluded, except for enteral feedings under specific conditions.
Surgical treatment for obesity is excluded.
Gender treatments, cosmetic or plastic surgery are excluded.
Expenses related to dietary supplements, substances purchased without a prescription, and treatment for refractive error below 7.5 diopters.
Unproven treatments, sterility, infertility
Maternity expenses are excluded.
Injury from war, invasion, civil war, rebellion, and similar events.
Injury from nuclear, chemical, and biological attacks or weapons.
Circumcision, unless for treating an injury or illness.
Vaccination and inoculation expenses.
Expenses for prosthetic devices, eyeglasses, and hearing aids.
The expense related to dental treatments, and braces, except for those arising from an accident.
Convalescence and general debility charge.
Exclusion of self-inflicted injuries or deliberate exposure to danger, except in attempts to save human life.
Naturopathy treatment.
Specific instruments used for sleep apnea and peritoneal ambulatory dialysis.
Charges related to stem cell implantation/surgery, except for specified treatments.
Domiciliary hospitalization Charges.
Treatment taken outside India.
