Maruti Ritz is a compact hatchback car that was jointly developed by the Japanese automobile manufacturer, Suzuki and Adam Opel OG in 2008. While the car was initially launched as Suzuki Splash in Japan; Maruti Suzuki India Limited launched it as Maruti Suzuki Ritz in 2009 in the Indian market. Since Ford had already registered the name Splash in India, the car had to be renamed as Ritz. It comes in both, petrol and diesel variants.

Design: Ritz is designed with a tall car body design with glossy paint options. It also has side molding strips to reduce the tendency of scratches. The tail lamp has been designed boomerang style and the wide bumpers give a classy design to the car. The window pillars are well designed to ensure better lighting and the overall exterior gives a smooth look.

Comfort: Maruti Suzuki Ritz is designed to provide maximum comfort to the user and his family. Along with the air conditioner and heater, it also has a steering adjustment, power outlets, fabrics upholstery, and front cup holders.

Exclusions:

  • Damage to tyres and tubes.

2. The music system of my Ritz car got substantially damaged in a recent accident. Can I submit a claim under my existing insurance policy?

You can submit a claim for it only if you have opted for Electrical Accessories add-on.

3. I had to hire another car for my outdoor travel as my Ritz was under repair. Will this be compensated under the Daily allowance add-on?
