Care Heart Plan

Overview

Care Heart is a unique plan launched by Care Health Insurance. It offers flexibility to choose benefits such as active heart health check-ups, OPD care, home care, and international second opinion, tailored to your needs. The plan is specifically designed to serve policyholders with cardiac ailments.

Care Heart Health Insurance provides a financial safety net for medical emergencies, offering access to quality healthcare at over 20,800+ network hospitals. It also includes annual health check-ups to monitor medical conditions.

The Care Heart Plan offers two optional add-on covers: Home Care and Care Shield.

Care Heart Plan Benefits

• Tax Benefits: The amount paid towards the premium of this plan is eligible for tax relief under Section 80D of the Income Tax Act, 1961.
• Knee Replacement Coverage: Care Heart offers coverage for total knee replacement surgery up to Rs. 1,20,000 per knee for the insured individual.
• Annual Cardiac Health Check-up: The Care Heart Plan offers annual heart health check-ups.
• Optional Add-on Covers: Care Heart offers additional coverage options such as Home Care and Care Shield under this plan. Home Care provides coverage for expenses incurred toward hiring a qualified nurse for providing medical care to the insured person.

Exclusions

• Hospitalisation due to war, riot, strike, or nuclear weapons
• Intentional self-injury
• HIV/AIDS
• Congenital diseases
• Infertility and In Vitro Fertilization (IVF)
• Miscarriage and abortion
• Listed ailments (during the 24-month waiting period)
• Pre-existing diseases (during the 24-month waiting period)
