Niva Bupa Aspire Plan

"Introducing a health insurance that rewards you for starting young."

A plan that allows you to go for overseas treatment.

Several health insurance plans are on the market, but have you ever heard about the plan that gives complete maternity benefits? Yes, now we have a plan that covers, complete maternity benefits under M-iracle benefits. Niva Bupa's Aspire Start Young plan is something you look forward to in health insurance. Niva Bupa offers not just great maternity benefits but gives credit if you stay healthy. It also gives borderless benefits - another unique feature. The plan comes in 4 types of variants:

  • Gold+
  • Diamond+
  • Platinum+
  • Titanium+

So, if you are someone who is young and just started working, this plan is for you. The plan is reasonable as it gives comprehensive coverage up to 1 Crore. This plan is very different from other plans in the market and gives additional benefits as well. Have a look below to get an idea of how Niva Bupa Aspire's plan is different.

What Makes Niva Bupa Aspire Plan Stand Out?

M-iracle

The name of this feature might be confusing, but this specifically means to celebrate parenthood. We all know that babies are indeed miracles and bring new meaning to lives. You will be covered if you plan to adopt a child, a one-of-a-kind offering in today's insurance market. If you choose this plan, you will get the following benefits:

  • Vaccination for the expecting mother
  • Gynaecologist consultation
  • Sonogram
  • Blood and other accompanying tests
  • Delivery procedure (Normal or Caesarian section)
  • In vitro fertilization (IVF PROCEDURE)
  • Gamete intrafallopian transfer (GIFT)
  • Zygote intrafallopian transfer(ZIFT)
  • Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI)
  • Medical termination of pregnancy(MTP)
  • Treatment of infertility
  • Charges for legally adopting a child

Booster+

Under the Booster+ benefit, you can carry forward the unutilized base sum insured. Also, the base sum insured will be accumulated up to 10 times as per the variant you choose.

Let us understand this with a simple example:

Rahul is a 25-year-old young guy who opted for the policy with an INR 10 Lakh base sum insured in 2023. For the next 10 years, he does not apply for the claim. So by 2033, that 10 Lakh SI will have a value of INR 1.10 Crore of SI, which is INR 10 Lakh + INR 1 Crore Booster+.

This way, by the age of 35 he will be completely secured for any kind of medical emergency.

Lock the Clock & Lock the Clock+

This feature ensures that the age of the policyholder will be locked at the entry when you buy the policy, till the claim is paid.

Additionally, Lock the Clock+ is an extended version of this feature, which states that if you claim M-iracle, then there will be no changes in the premiums, but any other type of claim will affect the premiums accordingly.

Live Healthy Benefits

Under this benefit, you just need to walk and get a discount on the next renewal. For this, you need to download the Niva Bupa App and collect the health points by walking. According to the plan, 1000 steps will be equal to 1 point.

Future Ready Benefits

The Future Ready benefit allows you to add your future spouse to the plan. And the amazing part is, all the waiting periods will be waived off as per your policy timing. Let me explain this with an example:

Let's say Ramesh purchased the Niva Bupa Aspire plan at the age of 25. He added the Future Ready benefit to the policy. After he got married at the age of 30, his wife unfortunately was diagnosed with a critical illness. But there's always a silver lining! Now he can avail of the cashless treatment benefit without waiting because he has served his waiting period earlier and now can claim the treatment charges.

Also, this plan waives off the maternity benefit waiting period and covers all the benefits for your spouse that you already have.

Borderless Benefits

With this benefit, you can get a planned or emergency treatment at any hospital in the world. This means that even if you are diagnosed with a disease in India but want to get treated at one of the top hospitals in the world, it is possible. Whether it is in London, France, Germany or anywhere in the world, you can avail of the treatment and claim for the reimbursement. In this case, you can also choose co-payment options.

WellConsult (OPD)

With the WellConsult benefit, you can get complete wellness and OPD benefits. Here is the list of all the exclusive benefits for you:

  • Telephone consultation or video consultation on the network
  • Physical consultation with specialists
  • Prescribed diagnosis
  • Prescribed medicine or pharmacy cost
  • Mental care coverage
  • Diet and nutrition coaching
  • Smart fitness coaching
  • Online reading, listening and watching material for wellbeing from the top wellness experts in the market.
  • Gym membership

Niva Bupa Aspire Start Young Plan Benefits

Niva Bupa Aspire Plan gives usual benefits that are generally covered in a health insurance policy such as hospitalisation coverage, pre and post-hospitalisation, room rent, domiciliary treatment, personal accident coverage, and AYUSH Treatment. But along with these, there are other exclusive and revolutionary benefits that this health insurance plan offers you. Here is the list of benefits that this plan gives to its policyholders:

  • M-iracle
Under the M-iracle benefit, the policy covers expenses related to maternity, IVF, adoption, surrogacy, vaccinations, consultation, sonogram cost, gamete intrafallopian transfer, blood tests, treatment of infertility and charges of legal adoption of a baby.
  • Lock the Clock and Lock the Clock+
The benefits ensure that you will pay the premium amount determined at the age when you purchased the plan till the time you make the claim. This means that your premiums will remain the same until you claim the benefit. After a claim, you need to pay the premiums according to your age. But in the case of Lock the Clock+, maternity claims will not be considered.
  • Booster Plus
Under the Booster Plus benefits, you can carry forward the balance sum insured up to 10x depending upon the entry age and opted variant. It boosts your existing sum insured on every renewal.
  • Cash-Bag benefit
You can accumulate cashback on every claim-free year. Though it is an optional benefit, but you can accumulate 10% of 1st renewal premium and 5% of every subsequent renewal premium.
  • Fast Forward
An add-on benefit that is applicable for the policies with 2 and 3 years of tenure. It brings forward the future base sum insured and M-iracle sum insured. This means you can opt for a full claim before the completion of the policy. For example - If you opt for the sum insured of INR 75 Lakh for 3 years and there is an emergency in the first policy year, then you can opt for the claim of the full amount which is INR 75 Lakh.
  • Borderless
The plan allows you to get treatment from anywhere in the world. This benefit also allows you to opt for a second opinion if you want to get treated in the best hospitals in the world, even if it is outside of the Indian geographical border. You can also opt for the cashless benefit for hospitals outside India.
  • WellConsult OPD Wallet
You will get unlimited tele and video consultations, pharmacy, gym, fitness coach, diet sessions, diagnostic, and emotional wellness. This benefit takes care of your mental and physical wellness altogether.
  • Safeguard+
It is a three-way protection benefit for policyholders. In this, you can increase the SI as per the inflation rate. Or you can protect your bonus from the claim filed under INR 1 Lakh. It also gives coverage for other medical equipment such as gloves, cotton, scissors, etc. which are usually not covered in the policy itself.
  • Organ Donor Expenses
The policy also covers the cost of organ transplants up to the sum insured. This includes vaccination, surgery, and pre and post-hospitalisation costs.
